The Dragaterror split from its ancestor and has become a formidable predator. Evolving a sharp, hooked beak, sharper teeth, and sharp claws, it is quite efficient at taking down prey. Like the nocturmander, it has become a digitigrade to help it chase down prey. Their fins have atrophied further due to the lack of use. Like their ancestor, they migrate to the beach during their mating season. The tadpoles look like a smaller version of their parents, but with larger fins and no legs. However, they still have sharp teeth and hooked beaks to dismember prey with. Once they reach 50 cm, they leave the ocean and live on the beach, where they will consume tuckworms and slythers. When they are 1 m long, they migrate into the scrubland, feeding on tuckworms and small slyther descendants. Young dragaterrors will flee from charging dragsails, only the adults have enough strength and experience to take them down. They don't reach sexual maturity until they reach full size.
