Size: 5 cm Long
Diet: Hemophagic (Glowvisus, Gloforage, Glarmor, Echinoforage)
Reproduction: Sexual, Sticky eggs laid on hosts
Almost immediately after the end-Devonian extinction, the deepsea tuckprey was faced with extinction. With the loss of its only host (and all possible hosts in general), they had to search for new hosts. A few lucky individuals managed to make it into the twilight zone, where they found the glowvisus. Over time, they have shrunk down to prevent them from sucking their new host dry, or causing serious blood loss. Their color has become dark blue in order to blend in with the darker waters of the twilight zone. Their metabolism has also slowed down in order for them to survive without a host for extended periods of time in case they can't find a glowvisus shoal. Over time, their food source diversified into new forms, providing the twilight tuckprey with a plethora of new hosts to feed on. Today, their population greatly exceeds their extinct ancestor's, as they have massive shoals of hosts to feed on.
