Ancestor: Pascovisus
Descendants: Waddlavisus

Creator: Bufforpington

Habitat: Datura Tropical Sea

Size: 45 cm Long

Diet: Herbivore (Shellsneak, Shelleaf)

Reproduction: Sexual, Eggs laid near Shellsneak and Shelleaf shells

For millions of years, the Shellsneak and its descendant's defenses have proven to be most effective- allowing them to take over much of the sea floor. Their tough shells were impossible for herbivores to crack, and the Psittacrush was carnivorous. This provided a tantalizing food source for the herbivores of Datura Tropical Sea, and eventually, the Pascovisus evolved to bypass the Shellsneak and Shelleaf's defenses. It has developed a long snout that it uses to probe into the shells of its food, plucking off the retreated leaves and bulbs of the Shellsneak and Shelleaf. Because there are now more orange flora in its range, the Probovisus is now orange instead of purple. They typically rest on the sea floor- sometimes even walking around on their fins instead of swimming. However, when feeding on shellflora- or when startled- it will begin to swim. However, it is not very fast, and mainly relies on the spikes on its back and its camouflage. In addition to this, its lateral eyes are now on the top of its body, facing upwards. This allows them to detect predators that are above it with greater ease. Like the Pascovisus, the Probovisus mates year-round, and lays its eggs within or around the shells of shellflora. This provides the fry a place to hide from predators.
