After the mass extinction, Wavebreakers and Pseudofelids quickly sprang up in numbers, creating dense meadows sprinkling the North Datura Temperate Coast. However, Wavebreakers gradually dominated as the only herbivore in the area, the Nautoreaps, preferred the Reefernerans way more. Some Wavebreakers went south, into the Datura Tropical Sea, as there was a lot of competition against each other. However, there was a new herbivore there that think of Wavebreakers as tasty snacks- the Pascovisus. Instead of dying off and staying to there original spots, they evolved. Shellsneaks' main way to protect against predators is to hide. Their chitinous shell has hollowed out and thickened, and the Photosynthetic parts are very flexible. If it feels anything try to touch it, it will quickly hide into the shell. It can hide in the shell for days, but it cannot hide indefinitely. It doesn't need to, however, as it normally only stays hidden for a few minutes or so.
