Reproduction: Sexual, eggs laid underneath Waveberries
With the evolution of the Waveberry, the Helmclimber decided to take advantage of the height. Helmclimbers have primitive lungs to allow them to breathe air, and small claws on their limbs to help them climb wave berry plants. They climb in order to escape from predators and have a safe place to lay eggs. Helmclimbers also evolved teeth in their mouth to pierce the stem of the wave berry and suck the sap, providing it with a stable food source. They became an orange/light orange color so they could blend in with their new home. Their eggs are stuck to the bottom of a wave berry leaf. the young hatch fully independent and fully formed.
