The Prailpalm split from its ancestors, descending from the mountains and into the tropical beaches of middle datura, and then spreading across the tropical, eastern beaches of Datura from there. They no longer hibernate during the winter due to the tropical climates that they dwell in. Their uppermost leaves have hypertrophied, allowing them to collect more sunlight. They deal with the increased amount of salt by excreting it through their trunks, creating a thin layer of salt that easily falls off. It also accumulates in its sporepods, making them dangerous to consume. However, because the crawlung can still consume the sporepods because of their ability to tolerate salt, the sporepods aren't very nutritious, making them unappealing to the behemoths.
