The Neakroot split from its ancestor and moved onto land. In order to survive far from water, it has developed a cuticle that helps it retain its moisture. It thrives throughout the East Daturian Peninsula. They are most common on the beach. They now have roots to keep them from being knocked over by the wind and to gather nutrients and water from the soil.
