Creator: ZoologicalBotanist
Habitat: Skwidbox Savannah
Size: 32 Centimeters Tall
Diet: Photosynthesis
Reproduction: Windblown Spores, Tillering
Moving inland to the savanna's on Skwidbox, the cardgrass was forced to adapt to a drier climate. Its leaves became thinner and longer to increase surface area for photosynthesis, and it grew longer roots and a thicker base for collecting and storing water. In order to spread faster, modified roots spread outward just underneath the surface and periodically sprout new plants in a process known as tillering. Spores are also produced and scattered by the wind, but a majority of the cardgrass plants in the Skwidbox Savannah were created through tillering.
