Taxonomy
Ancestors and Descendants
Ancestor: Hag-Trawler
Descendants: Tripohunter Voorhees Worm Lotophagus Uriel

As the hag-trawlers survived, they inched more and more onto land. While their skin is still moist, they have evolved rudimentary lungs, allowing them to breathe in oxygen from the air. Meanwhile, their spine has become almost an anchoring point of sorts, which is placed first, followed by their legs. They walk with this awkward gait on land and in the sea. In addition, the chelicerae have become much longer, and they now reach lengths of 8 centimeters. Their mucus coat serves to help keep their skin moist, as a result, making them effectively amphibious. They do not stray that far from a water source as a result.
