Descendants: Diamimic

Creator: Bufforpington

Habitat: Datura-Gemstar Reef

Size: 5 cm Long

Diet: Sanguivore (Reef neakweed)

Reproduction: Asexual, Eggs

The Tentamimic split from its ancestors as they travelled far from the coast, following a cloud of neakweed spores that were drifting toward the Datura-Gemstar Reef. Upon arriving, they found themselves with a shortage of reef neakweeds to feed on, resulting in most of them dying. However, a few survived on the lower amount of reef neakweeds and thrived. Over the course of a few million years, they adapted to the brightly-colored reef. No longer sheltered under a monotonous mat of neakweeds, their color and appearance has changed so they look similar to a hydravase tentacle. They normally travel in groups of three, and will attach themselves to vacant hydravase vases when threatened, flailing their tails around pretending to be a hydravase head. They also have developed a ring of photoreceptors around their head to better detect predators. However, their vision is incredibly poor, only being able to distinguish light from dark.
