A relative of the Raptijaw, the Shorejaw has become acclimated to shores of oceans and rivers, with a hunting style like that of crocodiles of Earth. It's edge in hunting is it's highly cryptic colouration and lack of bioluminescent cells. The Shorejaw resides on the shores of north and middle Datura and associated rivers, hunting modest sized prey. The Shorejaw itself ranges from a meter to two meters in length, with the latter being rare to find. The Shorejaw has more robust raptorial jaws than that of it's predecessors to help with grappling with terrestrial prey and pulling them down with it's strong, arm like fins and powerful, muscular body.
