Ancestor: Prailshrub

Habitat: North-Middle Daturian Mountains

Size: 20 cm Tall

Diet: Photosynthesis

Reproduction: Asexual Spores

The mushrub split from its ancestor and has moved into the North-Middle Daturan Mountains. Thanks to its thick roots, it was easily able to break through the rocky soils. It now has one mushroom-like cap that it uses to both photosynthesize and produce spores. The spores are produced and released from 'gills' in a similar fashion to earth's mushrooms. This is a far more effective reproductive strategy in the mountains, as the wind can send spores flying up the mountainsides. The flesh that makes up its cap is very thick to provide insulation in high-altitude environments, and its trunk is even thicker for the same reason.
