Taxonomy
Ancestors and Descendants
Ancestor: Dispohoovus
Descendants: Visogroupus

Descended from dispohoovus, they have now become pelagic, swimming throughout the water column rather than just near the sea floor. They have developed a semi-rigid series of chords down their body that holds their shape while still allowing for flexibility, expansion, and contractions. They have developed a powerful set of muscles to contract their stomach, which are lined with rows upon rows of keratinous teeth, allowing them to swallow prey whole and still chew it. They have also developed several smaller expandable saves to pump water through its body, improving its respiratory system. It is now between 35 and 50 millimeters long (3.5 to 5 cm) thanks to its numerous mesochords providing support.
