Taxonomy
Ancestors and Descendants
Ancestor: Diamondleaf

Creator: Bufforpington

Habitat: The tropical beaches of North Gemstar

Size: 40 cm Tall

Diet: Photosynthesis

Reproduction: Asexual Spores

The Diamistalk split from its ancestor and has fully transitioned onto land. They have adapted to living out of the water by developing a thin cuticle, keeping them from losing water. Their roots are no longer anchor-shaped and are longer, allowing for them to gather more nutrients and water. Their leaves are situated on the top of a tall, thick stalk to keep them out of reach of small herbivores like the armorlug and the squishwalker. Spore-bulbs no longer have the ability to grow into new plants, as they rarely travelled far from the parent plant in their new terrestrial home.
