The crinavian split from its ancestor and now lives further inland. They feed on the abundance of various tuckworm species that dwell in the scrubland. Their 'landing gear' has become fully developed legs, improving their ability to walk to a certain extent. However, this isn't much of a problem, as they spend more time flying than walking. They now build donut-shaped nests in nonotowers. This nest is made from the discs of various small species of neakflora. These discs are glued together with an adhesive, glue-like substance that is produced in glands inside of their mouths. This glue is shot out of the mouth and onto the discs. This glue is also used to ward off predators. Females will build nests in an attempt to impress males. If the male is impressed, they will mate and remain together until the young leave the nest. The male must sit on the eggs and care for the young while the female is tasked with gathering food for her mate and the young.
