Ancestor: Clavopodus

Evolving from the clavopodus, the clavodorock has developed fleshy, adhesive tentacles to it's hind area. it uses these to attach to rocks, plants, and larva cling to animals. This allows them to store energy as well as pick locations that suit there feeding habits best. They can become mobile at will, but some can stay still for years.
