Habitat: The Western, Tropical Beaches of South Gemstar and Skwidbox

Size: 40 cm Tall

Diet: Photosynthesis

Reproduction: Asexual Spores

The Cardleaf split from its ancestor and has fully transitioned onto land. Like its cousin, the diamistalk, the cardleaf has also developed a cuticle that allows it to survive on land without drying out. They have developed rectangular, broad leaves that slightly increase its photosynthetic capabilities. It also has increased the number of leaves from four to six, further increasing its ability to photosynthesize. Its roots are no longer anchor-shaped. These roots are longer and there are more of them, increasing their surface area and allowing them to absorb more nutrients and water. Their spore-bulbs have lost the ability to germinate, as they couldn't travel far from the parent plant. Their leaves grow back rapidly, as they are commonly eaten by squishstriders.
