Azilds are slightly-larger descendants of Azuarrows that went south into the West Gemstar-Skwidbox Tropical Beaches and evolved there. The adults are more the less unchanged from its ancestor, however, the larva changed quite a bit. As they went south, they met the Cardleaves and Cardflowers, both undefended from predators. So Azilds took advantage of this opportunity and became predators of them both. However, heavy competition against larvae began to start, and it became necessary to be fast to be able to eat the plants first. Azilds started to gain stronger leg-muscles, and the front-most tentacles became suited for grasping and eating the plants. Some Azilds came back north, but they are nowhere near as prevalent from the lack of Quadrifolia
