Taxonomy
Ancestors and Descendants
Ancestor: False Clam
Descendants: Graboid Coral Graboid

As descendants of the False Clams moved further and further into waters, their shells would slowly accumulate, and form coquina-like rocks, upon which coral-like organisms would grow, absorbing calcium for their shells. In addition, these crude reefbeds also serve as anchoring points for living represenatives of this clade. As they grew bigger and bigger, they relied less on movement, and as adults, they anchor themselves entirely to a specific point. They use a rather large, modified proboscis, which sticks out of their shell, to filter feed. Behold, The False Crinoids.
